Dear all,

Our hounder is creting 1,1Gb of index files per day and we are running
out of disk space in the server.
We need to know if there is a way to reduce those index files or to
have it keep just one day of copies.

du –ch shows the following output:

flaptor@abc:/data/ClonProd/hounder_clon/indexer/indexes/copies$ du -ch
1.1G ./index-1271105511264
8.0K ./index-1271105389473
8.0K ./index-1271105419924
8.0K ./index-1271105359028
8.0K ./index-1271105632995
8.0K ./index-1271105602561
8.0K ./index-1271105572120
8.0K ./index-1271105450365
8.0K ./index-1271105541694
8.0K ./index-1271105480814
1.1G .
1.1G total

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Blanca!

This is an old bug that was corrected long ago. Please update to the latest Hounder version.

I don't think it's a bug. The directories are hard-linked, so total used space is the same for all indexes that for a single one.

Alejandro, you're right, it's not a bug, and in fact that indexer is not producing 1.1GB each day. 1.1GB is the total amount of disk space the indexer is utilizing, and it is clearly not growing much.

If the disk is full, it must be something else.
