Do we have any pre requisites document explaining the OS environment,
and other prerequisites required for installing hounder.

Hmm, not really. I will make sure we add that to the hounder.org site and the downloadable documentation.
In the meantime you need Linux and Java 1.6 to get it running.

Riko, we're currently moving servers and Hounder.org will be up in a short while.
There you will be able to download the source code.

Riko, the site is now up and seems to be running smoothly at the new server.

I'm curious, what happened with the search engine you were using at kakle.com?

It mainly a meta search now...but I want to provide our own results..which will be  the web search...

If you do a search you will see the meta results.

I see the site is up.

Do you help twitter and wordpress or they integrated on their own? I want to index the www -- but thinking of only giving like 50 -100 results per keyword. Won't try and index all the www.

We do offer consulting services and did so in many projects, but there is nothing stopping you from doing it on your own: you can download, install and configure the product, and even implement your own changes as the source files are freely available and under the Apache v2 license.
