Is the index corrupted?

Hi,

I was installing Hounder on Centos 5.3. On the Hounder Home - site
(http://localhost:47050/index.do) I'm getting a BAD state on the
searcher.

here is copy form the /var/local/hounder/searcher/logs/hounder.log

Hi Marinó,

Did this work before or is it a new installation? Do you see any errors in the indexer log?

No. has not worked, from the beginning - (I am new to the Linux
enviroment so..)

one time I got this error in the indexer log:
ERROR [RMI TCP Connection(2)-127.0.0.1]
com.flaptor.hounder.indexer.Indexer - [indexDom: Trying to index a
document but the Indexer is no longer running.] 2009-06-12

but I can't say when. I have configured the "ssh localhost", I am
loggin I without the password. - if that was the case.
and set the "IndexLibrary.rsyncAccessString=" in the indexer/conf/
indexer.properties

is there a way to create a new index?

Marinó,

1. Are you logging into the server using an ssh agent running on your machine?
2. Could you please show me the contents of the index directory?
3. Are you sure there is no rsync related error reported in the logs?
