If anyone may be awaiting a review of the book in the meantime, I posted one (fairly comprehensive) today:
http://www.carehart.org/blog/client/index.cfm/2012/2/28/New_book_review_Railo_3_Beginners_Guide
Of course, if you are thinking of reviewing it, then you may want to hold off reading that so you have a fresh perspective when you get the book. :-)

Hi James, thanks for the update.
I think you’ll see we came out about the same place with respect to the book, both clarifying for readers who it seems the book is best oriented to (which is to say, not so much for CF folks looking to get into Railo, but instead folks coming to CFML for whom Railo is their first CFML server.) Nothing wrong with that being the audience, of course. Just seemed worth clarifying for our audience of CFML users, in terms of how they may consider or to whom they may best recommend the book.
