to Hotwire Shell
Hi, I started using Hotwire Shell to maintain my linux Ubuntu
computer. It is an amazing program, It keeps my file searching
together with a command line interface. When i try to use a terminal I
just get lost.
It would be nice to have the forward, back, up, home controls in a
bar, or be able to custom place buttons.
It might be nice to expand pipelines with arrows from the overview,
the current works great except when looking through multiple pipelines
or if i selected the wrong one and want to get back to the overview
fast.
I would like to see Integration of some of the separate components,
like the hotwire editor, sudo, and terminal. Possibly having them open
as tabs or maybe together with the pipelines. One of the major reasons
i like using this program is cutting down on open windows when having
to compile installs.
Possible expansion of the program could include a command guide, where
the common commands are displayed (like in the help), then you could
click on them to make a command that would have the fields preset to
look for locations, and a drop menu for arguments. Or a middle click
system for highlighting commands and files to place them in the input,
or run commands.
There are a lot of programs that have shell commands, If hotwire could
find commands for programs making shell scripts could be amazing fun.
