I'll get around to it now. There isn't much, and doing it for every
message immediately takes longer then you'd expect :(

Deleting these 'users' who are sending the spam would help; it seems
like the same user has been doing it a few times.

Can you just turn on approval for new users? That is, new users would have to be approved by a moderator/owner before they can be part of the group?

I do ban the users when they do that. Those have been.

That's the situation with access is either "open" or "totally moderated", I'd have to approve everyone joining up which is just not worth doing. Moderation on first post would be much better.

Not that there is much activity right now, anyway.

yeah that's true. I figured that since we don't have too many members, approving new ones would happen not very often, but I guess it could still be a pain for one person.
