It's been a while. To my surprise people still want this site and they still visit it (around 10,000 per month), so... I decided to give it a try and move forward with an upgrade.
My plan is quite simple, recruit people to help me (there seems to be sufficient number of old geezers who love these games and would be willing to help), raise some funds (so HotU will not go bankrupt as it frequently does :)), add technical functionality so those people can update the site without waiting for me to upload things. Also, I'm thinking of adding some modern functionality (like links to YouTube videos with longplays/reviews of old games and such).

The primary discussion about this will be on the forum: http://www.forum.homeoftheunderdogs.net/viewtopic.php?t=290 but feel free to post here if you prefer, I will read it too.

At the moment I would like to discuss the ideas/details (so kind of brainstorming) and get some offers who would be intereset in helping.

That sounds like an incredible
Plan. I would
Most certainly be willing to assist, and donate money, and help raise money.

I'm away of a few local classic video game shops I frequent that may be willing to
Help as well.

Kieran, could you email me?
http://www.homeoftheunderdogs.net/contact.php (here is my email)

That would be easier since not many people visit this group anymore :)
