JSP / web content not reloading in JBOSS

A client is running JBoss EAP 6.4 and I've been working with them to get DCEVM running for their developers.  They are deploying EAR files and I cannot get any of them to refresh JSP or static web content.  I have confirmed that the properties file is being loaded, and both the webappDir and extraWebappContext are pointing to the included war's webapp source directory.  I've cranked up the logging and I'm not seeing any messages about those directories.  I have tried with and without autoHotswap set in the properties file.

What can I do from here to track down the issue?

Also we're using IntelliJ as the IDE.  Deployment has occurred via debug mode.

webappDir is not supported for Jboss (I have updated the documentation). https://github.com/HotswapProjects/HotswapAgent/issues/27 .

 

You can search for Jboss configuration - if it is supported on application server level.

JBoss AS is configured to allow JSP reloading (development mode in their config file).  Am I correct in assuming that this just isn't supported currently?

webappDir property is not supported to change JSP source directory.

 

You can use standard JSP reloading with JBoss and HotswapAgent, but you cannot change JSP source directory.

Standard jsp reloading is not working across multiple ears.
