Hi Martin,

I hope that you are well.

I'm preparing a video tutorial on why Hot Potatoes is my favourite software.

I have a few questions.

When was Hot Potatoes born?

If I want to work for a company and get paid, can I use Hot Potatoes or is it free for educational purposes only?

Do you have more information on HP anywhere else than on https://hotpot.uvic.ca/  that I could read ?

There's a brief history of Hot Potatoes development in this paper we
wrote back in 2005:

Hot Potatoes is completely free for anyone to use for any purpose. We
used to charge a license fee for commercial use, but we stopped doing
that in 2009.
