SAP ABAP Analyst/Developer

Contract Role

Work location - TX - Austin IT Innovation Center North - 13201 McCallen Pass - Austin IT Innovation Center North

Design and Development: participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions, including enhancements, customizations, and integrations using SAP BTP, ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and other SAP technologies (CAP, HANA Cloud etc.)

System Implementation: Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP projects, from requirement gathering and analysis to go-live and post-implementation support

Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

Methodology: Adhere to Clean core guiding principles, adapt cloud-based applications using SAP Cloud Platform tools and technologies and embrace cloud mindset

Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals

• Technical Skills:

 Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including RESTful programming, CDS, modern extensibility, etc.

 Strong experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services

 Knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, or others

 Knowledge of BTP tools/services like SAP Build Work Zone, Business Application Studio, and GIT

 Experience developing cloud-based applications on the SAP BTP platform

 Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments with S/4HANA upgrades and ECC to S/4HANA upgrades with code remediation

 Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, RISE, and SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST)

Business Group – finance IT organization, responsible for rolling out SAP globally, looking at retiring older systems and replacing it with SAP, works in the accounting and purchasing space, vehicle sales and ordering, configuring and customization of SAP, this is an SAP developer position, using SAP technologies

Chance for an extension – if the person is a good fit, yes can be extended to longer term position

Years of experience: at least 5-7 years

Degrees – Bachelor’s Degree

Prefer certification in SAP technologies
