Hot Metal 2013

Hey ladies, 

There is very little going on with Hot Metal currently. It sounds like very few people are interested in returning to the style of HM 2012, but we all want HM 2013 to happen.

I think we should take this as a HUGE opportunity. If anyone from the team last year is interested in playing some sort of women's club this upcoming year, I would love for you to speak up. Beyond going to Atlanta (which I imagine will be a blast), we have a chance to run the season however we want! New tournament schedule, new practice schedule, new try-out plan, etc. 

Let me know (or reply all) if you are thinking about playing and have any thoughts-- we should probably get moving soon with regards to finding fields for try-outs and planning a tournament schedule. 

Once we decide on a style, we can recruit accordingly! 

My general thoughts

-Maybe try a every-Sunday schedule instead of double weekends randomly. Easier to plan/remember AND we can cater towards local folks instead of out-of-towners. Sunday evenings seem to be free for a lot of people.

-Closer tournaments-- easier for college players-- we could really push for college recruits/growth 

-More social planning for all ages-- could do a college party to raise money for uniforms, etc.
