Product Owner / Scrum Master – Supply Chain Control Tower

Location Peoria, IL – 5 days in office

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Requirements Management

• Own and manage the product backlog, roadmap, and release planning.
  
• Conduct business workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and align stakeholders.
  
• Translate business needs into Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
  
• Prioritize requirements using structured frameworks such as MoSCoW and business value assessment.
  
• Define phased delivery plans and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  

 

Agile Delivery & Team Leadership

• Lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  
• Guide cross-functional onsite and offshore teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  
• Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes.
  
• Drive incremental delivery and ensure timely execution of project milestones.
  

 

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, and delivery teams.
  
• Facilitate discussions, manage competing priorities, and drive consensus on product decisions.
  
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.
  
• Ensure business objectives are translated into executable and measurable outcomes.
  

 

Supply Chain Domain Leadership

• Demonstrate strong understanding of supply chain operations including:
  
• Inventory & Availability Management
  
• Demand & Supply Planning
  
• Procurement & Supplier Collaboration
  
• Dealer & Distribution Operations
  
• Logistics & Order Fulfillment
  
• Supply Chain Reporting & Performance Metrics
  
• Support design of control tower solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
  

 

Solution Design & Governance

• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure scalable and sustainable solution design.
  
• Define Functional Design Documents (FDDs), process flows, and business requirements.
  
• Support integration strategies involving ERP systems, master data, reporting platforms, and enterprise applications.
  
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, UX standards, and digital transformation objectives.
  

 

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Product Manager, or Engagement Lead.
  
• Proven experience leading complex enterprise application implementations.
  
• Strong expertise in conducting business workshops and requirements discovery sessions.
  
• Hands-on experience defining Epics, Features, User Stories, and managing Agile backlogs.
  
• Experience managing distributed delivery teams across onsite and offshore locations.
  
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Availability Management processes.
  

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Supply Chain Control Tower or Visibility Platforms.
  
• Familiarity with ERP-integrated applications and enterprise data ecosystems.
  
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and modern application architectures.
  
• Exposure to analytics and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
  
• CSPO, SAFe POPM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certifications.
