Who you are:
• 13 plus years of experience in Application and/or Infrastructure Monitoring & Observability
• Experience of deploying Dynatrace tools for different technologies and platforms
• Experience on Configuration and customization Dynatrace solution that include integration with other tools.
• Develop automation and repeatable processes/scripts to enable solutions that deploy, manage, configure, scale and monitor Client applications is a plus
• Prior hands-on experience providing troubleshooting expertise for performance and other issues.
• Must have completed Professional Certification in Dynatrace
• Very good understanding of tool capabilities for a given customer environment
• Python scripting, Dockers, Kubernetes, DevOps tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet
• Proficient in giving product trainings, demonstrating Dynatrace capabilities and new features to existing or prospective customers
Role: Database Administrator - DB2
Employment Type: Fulltime/Contract Contract till Aug 2025 + Possibility of extension
Work location: Remote/Onsite (mention no. of Onsite days) Onsite – 5 days a week @ Waukegan, IL.
About the Role Trianz is looking for a DB2 Database Administrator with strong DBA experience to handle databases on Linux platform.
Job Responsibilities · Administer DB2 LUW databases on Linux platform.
· Install, upgrade and patch DB2 databases.
· Strong with backup and recovery.
· Conduct performance tuning of high scale databases
· Strong experience in setting up DR databases and perform DR tests
· Experience with automation using shell scripting or Ansible
· Experience working with development teams for object deployment and setting up data replication using federation and other data replication tools like Attunity, DTShare etc.
· Provides status report updates to managers.
Required Skills · 10 + Years of experience in DB2 DBA with Replication
· Expertise in Database Installation and Configuration: Installing and configuring Db2 LUW ( (Linux/Unix/Windows platform) database software on servers.
· Strong in HADR, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management and troubleshooting
· Experience in database design, patch and version management.
· Knowledge in capacity Planning, documentation, collaboration, automation monitoring, compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
· Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning to minimize data loss in the event of a system failure.
Required Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Experience Minimum 10 plus years of experience in DB2 DBA.
Site Reliability Engineer- Must be local to Sanjose CA only USC
Location: 2 days from Sanjose, CA office … 3 days remote
They need to have strong in the areas of cloud technology, deployment, IAC and scripting areas. They should know Terraform, Kubernetes (NHS), Ansible
Location: 2 days from Sanjose, CA office … 3 days remote
