Structural Engineer

Houston, TX Day one  Onsite)

Role Purpose

To own structural engineering decisions for modular steel buildings, Packaged Equipment Centers, equipment skids, support systems, transportation loads, lifting analysis, and foundation interface requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for modular buildings and packaged equipment centers
  
• Design steel structures, equipment supports, lifting frames, transportation reinforcement, and skid foundations
  
• Validate load cases including dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, and transportation loads
  
• Ensure compliance with AISC, ASCE, IBC, and customer structural standards
  
• Coordinate with Mechanical and Electrical teams for integrated design execution
  
• Review fabrication drawings and support manufacturing clarification
  
• Participate in design reviews and customer technical discussions
  
• Support installation methodology and site structural requirements
  

Required Experience

• 12+ years in modular steel structures / E-House / substation buildings / industrial structures
  
• Strong experience in packaged electrical buildings and utility structures
  

Preferred Software

• STAAD Pro  /   RISA 3D
