Role: Senior Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst / Administrator

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst / Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce CPQ (mandatory) along with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The ideal candidate will drive CPQ implementations, pricing strategies, and quoting processes while bridging business requirements with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories).
Lead design and implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions, including:
Product configuration
Pricing rules and discounting logic
Quote templates and approvals
Price books and pricing strategies
Configure and customize Salesforce platform:
Custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts
Validation rules, workflows, Lightning Flows
Reports and dashboards
Manage CPQ-related enhancements such as:
Price rules, product rules, QCP (Quote Calculator Plugin)
Subscription pricing, renewals, amendments
Perform data migration, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
Work with integrations involving third-party systems (APIs, middleware tools).
Support UAT cycles, create test cases, and manage defect resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, stakeholders).
Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
Provide production support and troubleshoot CPQ and Salesforce issues.
Train users and ensure adoption of CPQ processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of Salesforce experience, including:
Strong hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience (MANDATORY)
Salesforce Administration & Configuration
Deep expertise in:
Product configuration, pricing, quoting lifecycle
Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules
CPQ data model and quote lifecycle management
Experience with:
Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Lightning Flow, Workflow, Process Builder
Data Loader and data migration tools
Strong understanding of CRM processes and business workflows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certifications:
Salesforce CPQ Specialist (highly preferred)
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
Experience with:
Financial Services Cloud or Insurance domain
Power BI / Tableau for reporting
Microsoft Dynamics 365 (nice to have)
