Position: Workday Integration Systems Analyst Lead

Location: New York, NY 10178 - Hybrid Project 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Duration: 6 Months + Potential to hire fulltime

Client: Federal Home Bank of NY

Integration Role:

The Integration Lead for Workday Finance is responsible for managing integration between Workday modules and other downstream systems. This role requires technical expertise in Workday's integration capabilities, financial processes, as well as strong functional knowledge of the same subject areas, to support ongoing operations.

This role is ideal for someone who has spent significant time working hands-on with Workday Finance, understands the downstream impact of financial integrations, and can confidently troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, RaaS, and Web Services

• Support system integration with other platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation. Including understanding integration error handling and troubleshooting techniques

• Support ongoing configuration, maintenance of Workday Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Expenses, and Asset

• Manage data mapping, transformation, and validating data accuracy across inbound and outbound integrations ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Prepare for and lead activities around Workday releases, including impact analysis, regression testing, and adoption of new integration.

• Build, test, and deploy integration business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and data transformations to support operational workflows.

• Serve as a trusted advisor on Workday integration best practices and design patterns, collaborating with IT, and business stakeholders.

• Analyze Requirements and develop Technical and Functional requirements for; new systems, enhancements to existing systems, and integrations between systems.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience with  Workday integration and administration, preferably in finance but HR experience is also considered.

• Experience with the entire Workday integration toolset: EIBs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect Studio, RaaS, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, and XSLT

• Experience with Workday Report Writer

• Skilled in data analysis, data integration mapping, and data migration; strong understanding in Data Extraction, Translation, and Load (ETL) Processes.

• Experience supporting the design and development of  large ERP systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, or worked with Integrated Business Systems, multi-tiered client/server applications, and distributed applications.

• Skilled in SQL development.

• Understanding different authentical methods. SSH Keys, certificate keys

• Experience with file transfer protocol methods,  SFTP.

• Workday certification is a Plus.

• Experience with BIRT for custom reporting layouts. Nice to have.

• Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
