Role:Tandem Consultant

Location : Remote

TAL C with Java

 

Role Summary: A TAL Developer with Java expertise typically works on HP NonStop (Tandem) systems, especially in financial services or payment processing domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications on Tandem systems using TAL and Java.
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance in transaction processing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture and codebase.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in TAL (Transaction Application Language) and Java, C++.
• Experience with HP NonStop systems.
• Knowledge of Guardian OS, Pathway, and Enscribe/SQL databases.
• Familiarity with financial transaction protocols (e.g., ISO 8583).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
