We have an immediate requirement for a Power BI Architect / Senior Developer with strong Microsoft Fabric and Power BI experience for our client in Newark, NJ.
Position Details
Role: Power BI Architect / Senior Developer Location: Newark, NJ Experience: 8–10+ Years Visa: No - GC, H1B, (OPT is Fine)
Required Skills- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric (Mandatory)
- Expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)
- Strong understanding of Data Modeling concepts
- Experience with Data Warehousing (Fact/Dimension Modeling, Star Schema)
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with Azure, Fabric, or other Cloud Data Platforms
- APIs and Data Integration experience
- Understanding of security, access controls, and data governance in Power BI/Fabric
- Strong communication skills and ability to gather business requirements
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Power BI reports using Microsoft Fabric.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into impactful BI solutions.
- Support and implement Target State BI Architecture.
- Guide and mentor BI developers while ensuring delivery quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend architectural solutions.
- Implement best practices for Fabric and Power BI development.
- Manage report access, security models, and data connections.
