Job Title: Senior Java / React Developer (Ex-American Express MUST)

Location: Phoenix, AZ _ hybrid
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

We are actively seeking experienced Java or React Developers with prior experience working at American Express (AMEX) for a long-term contract opportunity in Phoenix, AZ.

The ideal candidate must have strong enterprise-level application development experience within large-scale financial or banking environments and should be comfortable working in fast-paced agile teams.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working with American Express (AMEX) is mandatory
• Strong hands-on experience in either:
  • Java Development (Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs), OR
  • React Development (React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, REST APIs)
• Experience working on enterprise-scale applications
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Financial services or banking domain experience
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes
• Full-stack development exposure is a plus
