Job Description/ Responsibilities
Role Overview: Seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to manage and optimize Aruba SD-WAN environment. The ideal candidate to have deep expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Aruba SD-WAN solutions using Aruba Central. This role will also involve driving automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability of the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management, configuration, and optimization of the Aruba SD-WAN infrastructure.
- Operate and administer Aruba Central for monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Design and implement SD-WAN policies, routing strategies, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability, scalability, and business continuity.
- Develop and implement automation workflows/scripts to streamline network operations and reduce manual efforts.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for SD-WAN related issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for SD-WAN operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking with at least 3+ years in Aruba SD-WAN.
- Proven hands-on expertise with Aruba Central for SD-WAN deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of WAN optimization, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), and network security principles.
- Experience in network automation (Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or similar tools).
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex SD-WAN environments.
- Aruba certifications (e.g., Aruba Certified SD-WAN Expert, Aruba Certified Network Security Expert) preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
