Location: Madison, WI (Currently 100% Remote)
Duration: Through 06/30/2027 (Extension Possible)
Rate: $45/hr on C2C
- Candidate must be a CURRENT Wisconsin resident.
- No relocation allowed.
- Although originally planned as a hybrid role (40% onsite / 60% remote), the current engagement is 100% remote. The client reserves the right to transition the role to onsite at:
Madison Yards Way, 4822 Madison Yards Way, Madison, WI.
- Two rounds of interviews
- Conducted via Microsoft Teams (Camera On required)
The State of Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Software Engineer IV with 10+ years of experience. The selected candidate will independently perform complex IT analysis and programming assignments and support multiple large-scale enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Project Leaders and Managers with project planning and team assignments
- Directing and monitoring work efforts
- Identifying resource requirements
- Conducting quality reviews
- Escalating functional, quality, and schedule-related issues appropriately
- Supporting multiple complex software development initiatives impacting the enterprise
- 10+ years of experience with CA-Gen development analysis and design
- Strong experience in a Mainframe DB2 client-server environment
- Ability to independently handle complex IT analysis and programming assignments
- Senior-level experience managing and contributing to large, enterprise-wide software development efforts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
