Google Maps HPA Update

Recently, Google has made a change in their hotel finder placements.

Now, when a user searches a specific property on Google Maps - the rate will no longer be displayed next to that property.

A property's rates can still be displayed on the maps page, but only if the user is searching a specific destination: "New York Hotels" or if they are looking at a map of New York City and just search "hotels".

Google has no plans of adding this property-specific search rate back, but we will keep you updated.
