Typical Job Responsibilities

• API Development: Design and implement robust, secure, and performant APIs to support frontend teams and mobile applications.
• System Architecture: Build scalable, event-driven architectures and microservices to handle high-traffic customer-facing platforms.
• Database Management: Write complex SQL/NoSQL queries and manage database schemas (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, and frontend engineers within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Testing & Deployment: Perform unit testing, participate in code reviews, and help deploy infrastructure using cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Technologies: Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and asynchronous programming.
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Express.js or related frameworks.
• Databases: Solid understanding of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Security & Auth: Familiarity with authentication protocols like OAuth, JWT, and API security.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git and containerization/cloud environments.
