Role: Mainframe Assembler Developer (IBM BAL)
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Visa: USC/GC/H4 EAD
š¹ Required Skills:
ā 15+ years of IBM Mainframe Assembler (BAL) development experience
ā Strong hands-on experience with the Connex payment switching platform (Mandatory)
ā Expertise using Xpediter for debugging and troubleshooting
ā Deep knowledge of payment processing systems, AFD (Automated Fuel Dispenser) workflows, and pre-authorization/clearing cycles
ā Experience with high-volume, real-time transaction processing environments
ā Strong communication and collaboration skills
š¹ Preferred:
āļø Experience with Visa ISO 8583 messaging standards
āļø Background in large-scale banking/payment modernization or migration projects
