Job Responsibilities & Core Focus Areas
1. Azure Data Engineering & Platform Management
- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable data solutions using Azure cloud services.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines and manage Data Lakes.
- Create insightful reports and visualizations using Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data architecture supporting analytics and BI.
2. Security on Azure Platform
- Apply a strong understanding of security protocols within the Azure ecosystem.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM), network security, and encryption methods.
- Ensure secure data communication and secure serverless architectures.
3. Data Governance
- Implement data governance frameworks and define clear data ownership.
- Ensure data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance measures are met.
- Utilize data cataloging, track data lineage, and handle metadata management.
