Job Description

This job offering is for the position of BIOS developer for working in Preboot/BIOS/UEFI technologies

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ontime completion of tasks assigned – Requirement capture, design, coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation
• Ensure quality of deliverables. Responsible for peer reviews as well
• Competency development of Self – technical as well as interpersonal skills
• Overall compliance - No follow-up culture, Timesheet compliance, Training completion, Status reporting etc.
• Participate in organization activities – innovation, knowledge sharing, technology forums

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Minimum of 6+ years as a Software Engineer.
• Design, code and integrate software for an embedded Linux target
• Customization, deployment and maintenance of Linux distribution on different hardware platforms
• Expert in C programing with RTOS.
• Very strong knowledge of Linux, ARM/x86 processor architecture with SOC.
• Ability to write effective and reusable code according to best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of hardware and low-level development is an asset
• Understanding of pre-boot environment, UEFI/Legacy BIOS or Linux BIOS
• Good understanding of Secure Development Life cycle (SDL)
