JOB DESCRIPTION:- We are seeking a strategic yet hands-on Lead QA/QE (Enterprise Data Platform) to own the quality engineering strategy across migration waves, new builds, and steady-state operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud data platforms, source-to-target reconciliation, and modern data testing frameworks.

MUST HAVE BIG QUERY & ENTERPRISE DATA MIGRATION EXPERIENCE!!

Required Qualifications (Must Have):

• Experience: 12+ Years of progressive QA/QE experience, including 3+ years in a Lead/Principal role managing distributed teams.
• Data Platform Testing: Proven experience leading QA for large-scale data platforms, data warehouses, or data lake programs.
• Core Testing Skills: Deep expertise in ETL/ELT validation, schema validation, source-to-target reconciliation, and historical parity.
• Cloud Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, specifically Google Cloud BigQuery (Snowflake/Databricks is a plus).
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with modern data testing frameworks like dbt tests, Great Expectations, Soda, or Datafold.
• Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills for complex validation and root-cause analysis.
• UAT & DevOps: Proven track record of planning/running UAT and a solid working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps/DataOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

• Experience leading QA for an on-prem EDW to Cloud Data Platform migration.
• Working proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience using AI / GenAI for QA acceleration/automation.
• Experience with data observability platforms (Monte Carlo, Bigeye, Acceldata) and BI validation (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
