Position Overview:
This position is a senior-level IT Business Analyst role within the Business Automation and Social Services Applications (SSA) division.
The analyst will:
Participate in highly complex IT business requirements and related activities.
Provide analysis and guidance regarding policies, procedures, and their impact on eligibility-system functionality.
Analyze Clients assistance program policies to determine their impact on SSA automated systems (TIERS, SSP, EST, and related systems).
Meet with Clients business areas and external stakeholders to define and document system-related business requirements.
Serve as a senior analyst in developing and implementing business rules, requirements, and technical specifications for eligibility programs.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
Monitor vendor performance measures and internal operations, reporting deficiencies to management.
Lead continuous process improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
Perform root cause analysis and create corrective action plans for IT systems and processes.
Provide peer reviews of business requirements documentation, technical writing, and editing.
Review complex project deliverables (charters, design documents, test plans, risk assessments) and provide feedback.
Serve as a lead resource for internal/external audit documentation and responses.
Prepare and present reports, communications, and recommendations to all levels, including executive management.
Provide production support and technical assistance to users of SSA eligibility systems.
