Role: DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer

Duration: 12+ Months ( Long Term )      

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

 

• Implementation of DevSecOps best practices and deployment methodologies
• Implement automation through tools and processes to improve team and day to day functions
• Troubleshooting and Support for DevSecOps related issues on different environments (Prod, Pre-prod)
• Act as an escalation point for Developers, Platform lead when required
• Provide a continuous Fanatical Support experience for our customers

 

Required Experience & Skill Sets:

• Strong experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps engineer.
• Experience automating and orchestrating workloads on different cloud
• Experience in scripting (PowerShell, YAML, Bash, python)
• Experience with Version control tools like Git (Azure Git, GitHub, GitLab)
• Proficient in leveraging CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment
• Experience in different cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux & Windows)
• Working knowledge of Infra-as-Code (CFT, ARM templates, Terraform etc.)
• Proficient in DevSecOps process implemnetation through CI/CD process
• Good understanding of Security analyasis like SAST, DAST, IAST etc.
• Should understand Cloud Security concepts and implementation of it in cloud environment
• Good knowledge of application development/deployment using Agile, and DevOps best practices (Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.)
• Working Knowledge of different monitoring tools
• Should have strong troubleshooting skills in both Linux and Windows environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate both technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences
• Effective with time management and expected deliverables
• An ability to multi-task and work on multiple concurrent issues and improvements

Tools & Technologies –

• AWS & Azure Cloud services
• CI/CD/CT (Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, MSBuild, Artifactory, SonarQube/SonarCloud, Testing Tools, Git etc.)
• DevSecOps Tools (Veracode,Black Duck, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, ShiftLeft, Trivy etc.),
• Monitoring (Nagios, ElasticSearch, Fluentd, Kibana, New Relic etc.)

 

Desired skills –

• Cloud Certification is plus
• Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management
• Working knowledge of Containerization & Kubernetes (AKS,Container Instances etc.)
