Hi I always had this problem, (horrible under miui 12, better but still bad ram management under 12.5, and horrible again with 13) Apps keep closing in background almost as soon as I go on the home screen or switch to an other app. Tried to set myself the battery management of apps (by selecting " no restriction" on multiple apps I use), tried to disable MIUI optimization, but none worked. Plus, even though I clean my phone regularly (cache, garbage apps, galelry etc), the phone became too slow. For example I used to play call of duty (mobile) on it, I can't anymore : image will freeze, connexion problems, heating fast and so much etc.

In some post on Reddit it seems like MIUI 14 update is making Nova Launcher crash (basically not working anymore). Anyone with a Redmi note 10 pro like me can confirm (or not) that nova laucher is still working after MIUI 14 update? Otherwise I will not update my phone anymore.

Hi, since I updated to miui 13, I'm having a bug with youtube, the videos often don't play and appear to be loading. The solution that I found for the moment is to close and open the app until it deigns to work correctly. I would like to know if there is anyone else who has the same problem.

So, i've updated my redmi note 7 to miui 12.5 recently and i've noticed some unexpected changes and problems that i've never encountered before of it. Well, at least i am happy that the old gesture to switch to previous application is back to the old one before miui 12 (back gesture and hold), unless this is something unexpected, a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. The main problem i've encountered is with floating windows, as the button to open them is not in recent apps anymore, but it is available in the control panel, so that's good, but once i open an application as a floating window, even if i use the gesture to get it back to full screen it keeps the windowed state (for example, the part on the bottom to move the window around is kept is still there on the bottom of the screen), sometimes those disappears but the app keeps some strange cornes and goes back to a floating window when i use the back gesture. Another thing i've noticed is that, really often when i change my screen orientation to horizontal is that I can't use back gesture anymore, it fixes when i get my screen back to vertical orientation. And at last, a problem that i had yesterday is that my screen became unresponsive in the small point where i have the button E on my keyboard, it was not just the keyboard not working, it just didn't work anyway in any app if i touched there (fixed with a reboot, fyi, never dropped my phone and never had problems with it). Am i the only one experiencing those problems? I really hope a fix is coming, it seems like the update was a little bit rushed

Overall Comments: Looks like this update wasn't too bad. I would recommend you to do it if you encounter bugs in miui 13. Else, it is better to stick with your more stable version. Perhaps wait until 14.0.30 comes out. Though this update was way better than the miui 13 update which severely lagged the phone.

I have a redmi note 8t with miui 12.5 installed which is based on android 11. I would like to install /e/os but the version (0.21) is based on android 10 (Q). I remember reading some things about anti roll-back measures, so I was wondering how this works for Xiaomi.

MIUI Notes is the official Xiaomi app for taking virtual notes. It offers a wide range of features, similar to the traditional Notes app from Google or notes apps from other manufacturers like OnePlus and Samsung.

The idea of using MIUI Notes is to substitute all the little papers you use for noting down things you don't want to forget and that you always end up losing. Basically, it lets you keep a bunch of virtual post-its on hand at all times where you can note down anything you want. A new password you just changed, your shopping list, gift ideas, a friend's address, anything.

Even though MIUI Notes is not particularly recommended for writing huge blocks of text, it does have all the features you could want in a notes app. You can align or center the text, use bold or italic text, change the font size, and of course choose between several different fonts. In short, you can customize your notes to make them look however you want.

MIUI Notes is a great app that not only lets you keep your notes with you wherever you go, but it also gives you the possibility to back them up in the cloud automatically. This way, even if you lose or forget your phone, you'll still be able to access everything you have written in your notes.

This app is great! Can anyone tell me if they successfully restored the accidentally deleted notes? I think I clicked on clear cache option, or uninstall updates, and I later realized that I didn't ba...

Before you start following the steps in this guide, we recommend you to double-check the version of MIUI on your smartphone. If you're still running previous versions of MIUI, we have already made guides for them. Here's the step-by-step process for MIUI 11, MIUI 10 and MIUI 9. Another thing to note here is that we used a Redmi 9 Power for this tutorial, so your mileage may vary.
