Procedure for vacating the hostel

Aum namah sivaya,

I hope you all got to know that there will be a total lockdown in Bangalore from July 14 to 22.

With this in place, I guess there is no question of you guys coming to Bangalore, leave alone to campus till July 22.

As such, there is no major procedure for vacating the hostel. Here is what you got to do:

1. Send an email to girlshoste...@gmail.com with your name, reg. no., your proposed date and time of coming to the hostel for taking your luggage. Mention in the mail that, "I shall complete the formal vacating procedures as and when required by the management".

2. Send me a text, one day before you come, so that I can get the appropriate permissions for your entry at the main gate.

3. Your vehicle will be allowed till our mess hall area. Parents can wait at the hostel office front area, but they will NOT be allowed to go to your rooms. You should pack your things yourself.

4. Any help required by you, like breaking the lock of your room (with the consent from your roommates), bringing your luggage downstairs, etc., should be properly communicated to us ahead of time and we would be happy to arrange that help for you.

5. Humble request is not to ask for your parents to be allowed into the hostel. Please don't make us feel guilty about having to say no in front of your parents. 

6. Please call me after 3pm, Mon-Fri (because I am attending class XI online classes from 9am to 2.30pm 😁😇) and any time on Saturday and Sunday, in order to clarify any other questions that you may have.
