Minutes of meeting held tonight

Dear all,
Here is a brief summary of the things discussed today.

Feedback on New House keeping Contract:

• After initial hiccup the quality of the house keeping is manageable. Though the cleanliness inside the toilets is not that good. We need to give them this feedback and see if the quality improves.
• We will suggest to the officials to alter the contract conditions to avail the house keeping services on Sundays too. Because most of the students wash their cloths and clean their rooms on weekends, the need of cleaning on those days is even more. As an alternative they can give leave to the people on batches so that every day there are some people.
• We will put up the printout on each door where the students will be signing when they are requested as a proof of cleaning by the concerned staff. Attached is the sample form. Please take a printout for all the bathrooms of your block. A page can be used for 1 month.
• There is a need to include the regular weekly cleaning of water purifiers in the job list of the contract.

• For getting the contact no. of the supervisor in the ladies blocks and all hostels except new block you can contact Mr. Raju.

There is a security concern among the ladies hostel blocks as enough security personnel are not provided for them. We hope the students council takes up this issue with the security officials.

The hostel officials are getting confused if many people complain for water shortage. So it would be good if you SMS or call me in case of water shortage in your respective block and I will inform the officials.

Some of us will be meeting the  CCMD officials some time next week to remind them some promised actions and also some present problems. (E.g. Some modification to the water line to the Rohini block, Enabling the shortcut path from Rohini to New Hostel block, Broken drain near Bharini)

Thanks to Srikant's initiative on getting the remotes for all the hostel blocks, we will have remotes for all the TVs. He will also arrange chain and box so that the remotes will be tied to the TV table and nobody can steal it mischievously.
