Being in this committee for last six months I can assure you that although it takes some negligible time for sorting out some of the problems of your friends but it gives a lot of satisfaction. I have enjoyed doing it so far and I hope you will also feel so.
As per our info. IISc administration has a good amount of fund to spend by April of this year and hence it's a high time for us as a united hostel committee to rise to the occasion and be counted.
We generally meet every second Tuesdays at 9PM among ourselves and depending on need fix meetings with the administration. So I would request all of you to come for the meeting with the list of problems of your respective blocks. It will be good if you can mail me those before the meeting or you can take a printout of that. In the meeting we would like to collect all the problems and then work with the administration to solve them as soon as possible.
So we are meeting tomorrow at 9.00PM near the A mess quadrangle.

We have also to update the present database of the current members on web. www.iisc.ernet.in/hostel/
so we need a photo and the following info. from all of you who haven't provided it yet or have some changes to the earlier data..

Hi Pratap, the follwing are problems which are in third floor, NHC-1. There are similar problems existing in every floor. I wish i could list out them by saturday or sunday. BATH ROOM 1T-1 One tap, 1 flush system BATH ROOM 1T-2 Flush system( in lavotry),  2 exhaust fans, 1 bulb BATH ROOM 1T-3 Exhaust fan, 2 lights, and light outside BATH ROOM 1T-4 One tap, 2 lights, 1 exhaust fan, 1 flush system BATH ROOM 1T-5 1 tap, light at entrance, one flush system, BATH ROOM 1T-6 1 light, 1 exhaust fan BATH ROOM 1T-7 2 taps, and light ouside BATH ROOM 1T-8 1 flush system, and light ouside BATH ROOM 1T-9 One bulb, 1 flush sytem, 2 exhaust fans   One light near T22, T35 Thanks and regards Vikram Block 1 --- On Tue, 9/2/10, pratap.iisc <prata...@gmail.com> wrote:
