vendor question

Good Morning,

I am wondering if I can get everyone’s opinion about vendors. We currently use Press Ganey, and our contract is expiring, so we are looking to “interview” others. So my question is, who is everyone using, and what are your opinions on the subject?

Corrie, we changed this year to PG from Quantros, which we had used for many years.  So far we like the education that PG provides a little better.  There are some slight differences in their methods but their support has been there to help us through.  We have a staff member that also works as a home abstractor and uses Premier as well.  She said they are all 3 similar in ease of use so i think it boils down to cost.

We currently use Truven and have been very pleased with them especially since they have a concurrent abstraction tool built within it.  We changed from Quantros about 6 years ago.  Truven support is excellent and the tool is very easy to use.
