I have recently noted Azithromax being used as surgical prophylaxis especially for C-Secs. I have tried to review the literature regarding this practice but have not been able to find any information on the use of this medication for prophylaxis. Have there been new studies recommending this practice?

No and it is not recommended in guidelines.
