hospital should be classified as an industry..

Hello everyone,

I am from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
I have seen many small clinics and nursing homes being operated out of
residences / flats etc.,
This may be the case in your city too..
I have always seen green colour drapes / wraps / cloths hanging...
from these hospitals...
It is very unpleasant and it is also dangerous as it contains
infection...that too unknown type...

I have been always wondering why the hospitals are allowed to be put
up in the residential area.
they should be classified as industries and should be allowed only
outside the city some 20-30 kms away from city like other industries.
Hospitals are ideally suited to be classified as industries as they
are more dangerous than some other non-polluting industries as they
deal with INFECTION.

Only city centers should be allowed in the city. The city centers
should only have OPD, diagnostic and emergency treatment facilities.
The rest has to be in the main hospital outside the city.

This will reduce the bio-burden (infection related burden) on the
people living in the city.

This is my view.
