Hello everyone,

Please share your views on this topic.

We, Indians, are very "Karma" and "Dharma" oriented people.
We believe in GOD.  We build temples for GOD.
It is good to have faith in GOD.

but as someone had once said...
Patient is also like GOD.
The word used for a patient was "Dardi Narayan"  (Dardi means patient and Narayan means GOD).

So I am suggesting that we should combine both these activities.

Temple and hospitals should be combined.

This way, a lot of money / resources that we spend on building temples and maintaining them will be used for building hospitals... and we should ensure that we build a temple in the hospital premises too.

This way a DARDI and Narayan can be combined.

hospitals should be called "Temples of Health"

At a cost of one temple, we can make a 30-50 bed hospital... (just a rough estimate...)
Now, think about number of such temples in India and multiply that with 30 to 50 beds...
We can just solve our problem of "low number of beds available per thousand people in India"

What do you say ?

Please let me know your views.

warm regards,

Dear Maulik

Thank you kindly for including me on this Health Forum Group.

I agree with your point regarding ‘Temples of Health’ as there is no better place for someone at times of great joy when life is given and no better place to be at the time of need.

I too share your vision we should make these places enlightening quality spaces, places people feel they can find spiritual healing and places for all to have access too. “Healthcare has no boundaries” and should be accessible to all !

Likewise I have some ideas on affordable modular community hospitals and future plans on how this can be done which we hopefully can share in due course.

Kind Regards

Steve
