Burglar alarm at No. 4

Hi all, hope you're enjoying this sunny spell...


After a year of building work at at no. 4, I was looking forward to meeting the new owners (and possibly enquiring why they thought they needed a security keypad on their new front gate??!) but several weeks after the builders packed up, it still seems empty - and their alarm, which has been going off daily, has been irritating me plenty.
I live eight doors away, so it must be driving their closer neighbours crazy.

Does anyone know what's afoot there?

So annoying!

I've made two complaints to Hackneys noise pollution department about the alarm at no 4....hope some other residents will complain too...

It's loud, and frequent, and is really pissing me off!

....developers ruin a once beautifully proportioned Victorian house, put it on the market for silly money and then leave it empty with the alarm constantly ringing...I've not seen a single person viewing it, so it could be standing there empty for years, like the one on Eleanor Road.
