Hi everyone,

Has anyone else noticed that the air conditioning noise from the council buildings is on much later at night these days?

Its really bothering me, especially as it seems particularly loud at night.

I've made a complaint to the Hackney noise people, but they are being dismissive.
It would really help if anyone else who is bothered by the noise also made a complaint.

They came round today and it wasn't very loud, so I'm trying to get them to come back at night. I guess the next step is to get the local councillors involved. I complained about it a few years ago and shortly after that it started being switched off around 7pm. Now it goes (louder) until after midnight.

If it is bothering anyone else, let me know and maybe we can write a joint letter about it. I think there will be more chance of action if there are more people complaining.

Hi Jerry
I totally agree, and have always found the noise very intrusive, it seems to depend on the weather a bit as well.  I will follow the link, thank you.

Thanks for the replies about this...

Elizabeth, I'm going to email the local councillor(s) about the air conditioning noise from the council building – would it be ok if I added your name to the email?

Hi Jeremy,

I agree with you too. I thought at first it was something electrical from the trainline - but now understand it to be from the council building.

It is very loud.

Hi All,

There are a number of vehicles in the car park that aren't those of people who reside in the building's it's for.

Just a headsupp to all I'll be starting process of getting these removed from tomorrow morning.

Thanks Simon
