Hello All,
With the economy in the dumps, and prices of everything going up,
horse owners are having to make critical decisions about their beloved
equines.
I have two of my own and I have had to scrutinize all my purchases.
For example, as hay prices have skyrocketed in my neck of the woods,
from $10/bale to $17/bale, I have started using a scale to weigh each
serving of hay so I know my horses are getting exactly what they need
and I am not overfeeding. This has helped on two ends, I am not
wasting hay and my horses are healthier to boot.
Do you have any money saving ideas to share with to help horse people?
