Dear Equestrian Colleagues:

          Attached please find a 3-page report for the Jack Brook Horse Camp in San Mateo County, California. 

          This excellent horse camp is within the Sam McDonald Park, which is part of the San Mateo County Park System.  It is a popular horse camp, so make reservations many months early during the summer months.

       My brief report is focuses on the highway location of the horse camp and how to make reservations through the San Mateo County Park System.    A hyperlink within my report includes their website, and the reservation telephone number.

      For a subsequent edition, I plan to add lots more horse-trail information, and showcase the trails that link southward into Pescadero Creek County Park.

      It is recommended that you purchase a detailed trail-map.        One of the best trail maps is:  Portola Redwoods and Pescadero Creek, map scale 1:25,000, third edition, 2014, contour interval 40 feet, by David Baselt.    This includes the Sam McDonald Park and the Jack Brook Horse Camp.
