Dear Equestrian Colleagues:

      Attached are several reports that I have written since 2012 on the various stages of development of the Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center, located on Penryn Road in the town of Penryn, along Interstate 80 in southern Placer County.

     Since LBEMC is also an emergency veterinary hospital for horses, I have included several maps on how to find it (in the context of an emergency predicament that might occur at night or on weekends).  Exit the Interstate 80 freeway at Penryn Road, and drive north for a short distance (=less than one mile).  There is signage on the right-hand side (=the East side).

     In March 2017, the new Dr. Robert Morgan Equine Reproduction Center was dedicated.  It is spacious barn for expectant mares and their newborn foals.   The LBEMC campus has tripled in size, including a new covered arena and a large number of paddocks for horses that need on-site medical care during recovery.  I have included a complete photographic report of this grand opening celebration held on March 22, 2017.
