Big Sur / M1 Chip Issues

not sure if there is a main thread for this already (didn't see one), but wanted to have a place to report big sur issues, as horos requested/suggested we provide them :)

i'm running 11.2 with the M1 2020 chip

1. I can't load films - dragging and dropping a folder of DICOM images into the HOROS UI does absolutely nothing
   1. using the manual import function through the horos UI also does nothing
      
      
2. the background color of the app (and my finder windows) seems to now be in "dark mode" - problem is, it's more of a purple color rather than a gray/black; it doesn't match the mac dark mode color at all.

The "official" bug reports are at https://github.com/horosproject/horos/issues.

For (1), a similar issue was logged recently logged but you can add to it: https://github.com/horosproject/horos/issues/635. On my Intell macbook and M1 mac mini both running macOS Big Sur 11.2.2, I can reproduce the drag and drop issue but things seem to work fine using the  Import button. 

For (2), please open a new issue with a screen shot showing what you see, if possible.
