Hi,

Would you be able to share screen shots of what you are seeing? I am not sure what you mean by tabs or "open in new window" from the window heading.

I hope I will manage to describe my Horos problem in an understandable way.

It concerns windows tiling. When I tile several windows my Horos refuses to show them simultaneously. The tiling does not end up in different windows – it ends up in different tabs - only one tab is displayed at any time. The consequence with this is that I am not able to view the different tabs simultaneously – the tab I clicked on last is the one displayed on the entire screen. So in an MRI/CT study I can´t for instance evaluate the transverse simultaneously as the connected sagittal or dorsal plane.

To get two images side by side I every time have to right click the image tab heading and choose “open in new window” – and then I have to manually move the two windows to be side by side on the screen. I have to do this with every new study I open.

I can´t find the setting to change this setting on my computer. Has anyone got a solution for this? This problem has been since I installed my Horos 1-2 years ago I haven’t been able to fix it.

Kind regards,

I was asked to put up some explanatory images of my problem.

Image 1 shows what I mean with tab and window. As a default two images open in tabs - hence I can´t view them simultaneously. The images show radiographs but the sam ehappesn when viewing CT series. Image 2 shows the same setting but when I have clicked the other image - the other images is shown but again not simultaneously. Image 3 shows how I want and am used to have it on other computers (as two windows side by side)- as default. On my computer to get to the stage with having them side by side it takes lots of different extra steps - and must be done again when every new study is opened.

Kind regards,
