Every time I try to use 3D MPR to reconstruct/fix my alignment in my Fat/Water (they are in the same image set) axial spine MRI images I get this message:

"Warning! These slices have a non regular slice interval, varying from __ mm to __ mm. This will produce distortion in 3D representations, and in measurements."

When I get to my 3D MPR window I notice that the Fat and water images are on top of each other (seen in photo).

Does anyone know what's going on and how I can fix this?

Thank you so much.

The MPR function is not meant for 4D images. The warning message is describing what your screen shot shows, the inferior slice from the first phase is shown on top of the superior slice from the second phase. The way to "fix" it is to split the two phases into two series. Some potential ways to do this:

- Open the series in the 4D viewer. Then only one phase will be displayed.
- Right click on series in Database window and select "Open Sub-Selection". Then set the To/From to be the slices for one of the phases.
