We just resolved this issue on our Monterey machine by going to the menu, choosing "Format", "Font", and "Show Fonts". In the font dialog that appears, we then only had to choose a font family (Arial, anyone? :), and the text appeared readably rendered. The "English" Collection was already selected; you may need to manually select it.

You should be able to experiment with different font faces, sizes, etc. to find a combination for your liking.

And in our experimenting, the font setting was retained after relaunching Horos.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows if diameter/dimension measuremets are possible in Horos on 3D-rendered model. Its very urgent please as need for my PhD work. I was able to use it on Osirix but unfortunately dont have access to it now. Thanks in advance.

after upgrading to Monterey, horos is not working. The message is: This application requires macOS 10.11 or higher. Please upgrade your operating system. 
where is the Horos database located? I have saved most of the Dicom folders separately with the patient's name, but some are missing. Obviously the ones I need ....
