Hello from sunny England,

I'm trying to set-up Horos in my hospital to be able to retrieve images from our PACS server. I know have entered all the server details correctly because I can search for patients in the Query window and see all their studies. However, when I try to retrieve the images to the local computer I get the error message 'Move Failed: MoveDestinationUnknown'

I'm sure it's something really simple but I've had a good look through the settings and done a bit of googling but to no avail.

Would really appreciate any help or suggestions.

Cheers, Jim

It sounds like you need to define an AET for Horos in your hospital's PACS so that your PACS knows where to send the study.

The info to input into would be found in Horos -> Preferences -> Listener.

Thanks David but I think I already have an AET specified. Below is a screengrab of the Listener page from Preferences. Can you spot anything wrong? Do you have any further suggestions?

Hi,

I think the problem may be with your port choice: macOS doesn't allow user processes to open ports under number 1024. Horos runs as a user process, and even if the user is an administrator, it doesn't have root privileges.

Please try using a higher port number, like the default number 11112. Make sure to also update this on the server side.

Best,

Alessandro

Thanks Alessandro. I've been told that there is a server side port open from a previous OsiriX installation so I've used that port. I am now getting a different error message 'Move Failed: UnableToProcess'

Any ideas?

Can you provide screen grabs of the configuration for Horos on your PACS?

It all seems to be working okay now! Not sure what I've done but thanks to everyone for help and suggestions.
