Big problem with Horos

Dear all,

a few months ago I stored thousands of Horos files both on Time Capsule and on a 4 Tb external HD; yesterday I downloaded the new version of Horos optimized for Big Sur. The problem hasn’t changed, as the problem existed with the previous version: Horos works for a while and apparently tries to retrieve the files from the external devices but in the end asks me a password that I don’t know and that I don’t remember to have ever created to any folder. So it is. Any idea or advice? I enclose a picture of the window on the screen.

Hi,

 I have had a similar problem importing zip files. Horos claims they are password protected but they were not. I unzipped outside of Horos and imported instead which worked.

Hi There

So I have experienced the same issue with the passpword screen pop-up, when trying to quit HOROS you are unable to. I used "Option + Command + Esc" hold in all buttons at the same time and the pop up disappears. You are then able to view your images.

I have tried to replicate the issue after closing the study, and importing different studies, the issue did not reoccur.
