Hello!
I see there is not much activity on the Github project page and Horos 4.0.0 RC5 has been released on purview.net but not on Github. The Horos Project is one of the best reasons to buy a Mac and I wonder if it this going to change soon? Will new versions of Horos be closed source?
Best Regards
AK

Artur -  Thanks for your note and for being a part of the Horos community.  Although it is always a financial struggle to continue on projects like this, we at Purview, who are the chief sponsor, both financially and otherwise, have pledged to keep the source forever open.  So rest assured it will remain that way.  Apple is doing its darnedest to make it more and more difficult to keep our code running as their environment changes. But with supporters like you, we are making it work.

Thanks again.

Thank you for your answer. This is great news! I appreciate your work and totally understand the difficulty of this task. It is obvious that you - Purview are the sole provider as relying on donations is always more or less hopeless. For me, being close to research teams, it is very sad there is a lot of money wasted by governments in the name of medicine and scientific projects that does nothing useful but not on crucial endeavors like this one.
