I am working on a project that requires for me to invert skull films from MONOCHROME1 to MONOCHROME2. During this process I am able to use the B/W Inverse CLUT function to convert it. However in the process of exporting the image, it then transforms the format to RGB. The first option given in the image format is "As displayed in 8-bit RGB with ROIs" and I do not want it to be changed to RGB so I end up choosing the second option which is "As displayed in 16-bit BW" (it is grayed-out at the moment). When choosing the second image in the exporting process, the Dicom image just reverts back to its original format. So, when I edited my MONOCHROME1 to MONOCHROME2, and exported it using that image format. It goes back to MONOCHROME1.

My question is how do I export the DICOM Image, in a way where it does not change it to RGB and still keep the edits that I made.
